A great way to introduce just some of the highlights of Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo Square where you can see the Government House or Casa Rosada (The Pink House) - home to Argentina’s presidents, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the 18th century Cabildo, Avenida 9 de Julio (the widest avenue in the world) and Palermo Park. Continue to La Boca. La Boca is the home of the famous soccer team and a typical Italian quarter where local artists display their work. Take a short stroll through the artists’ stalls and you will see that not all their work is confined to stalls. Many of the houses in La Boca are covered with brightly coloured murals, giving the district a unique and special feel.
