Flanked by the Andes Mountains on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other, Chile is a narrow stretch of land with breathtaking sights and so much to see and do from the world’s driest desert in the North to the spectacular scenery of the Torres del Paine National Park in the South. Wonderful Flora and Fauna, Vineyards, Volcanoes, Lakes, Geysers, Lagoons, and Glaciers combined with activities such as skiing, fishing, hiking, trekking, cruising, golfing, cycling, sailing, wine tasting and horse riding makes a holiday to Chile an unforgettable experience. There is so much to discover in Chile.
Santiago
Santiago has a spectacular setting with the Andes at one side and the coast on the other. It’s proximity to the Andes Mountains offers great opportunities for hiking, trekking and horse riding along with great skiing during the Ski season from June to October. Beautiful vineyards are only an hour from the city with great tours and wine tasting. The UNESCO port town of Valparaiso and Vina del Mar are easily accessible on a day trip. The city itself offers great restaurants, shopping, nightlife, parks and museums.
San Pedro de Atacama
San Pedro is a base for excursions to the spectacular desert landscapes such as Valle de la Luna and Salar de Atacama as well as the El Tatio geysers.
Staff members who have been here? Moire and Trish have been to Santiago and did a day trip to Concha Y Toro Vineyard for an afternoon of wine tasting!
